GUC Legal Library and Research Facilities:
In the field of legal research, the GUC library provides a considerable collection of research material both in digital and print. To that end, it offers over 640 different hardcopies of legal books in the area of Public, Criminal, Civil, Commercial, Islamic and International Law, as well as foreign legal systems. To search for available textbooks, handbooks, encyclopedias, commentaries and journals, visit the KOHA portal at [http://guclib.guc.edu.eg/].
In addition to hardcopies, online sources include research material available to students both on and off campus. On campus, students have access to multiple databases through any available Library-PC by accessing the KOHA portal [http://library.guc.edu.eg/] or laptop connected to the GUC Wifi by accessing http://student.guc.edu.eg] or [http://staff.guc.edu.eg]. These databases include:
- Ebrary (an online digital library books and database collections)
- Jstor archieves (academic journal articles, books and primary resources)
- Springer (a publishing house with numerus titles and periodicals)
- Tashreaat (Domestic legislations, precedent and literature)
- West Laws (UK and international material)
- OUP Max Planck Encyclopedia of Public International Law (Encyclopedia of International Law)
