
Aya Hesham joined the GUC’s Faculty of Law and Legal Studies as a Teaching Assistant in 2023. Her main field of interest is Private Law, specifically Civil Law. During her undergraduate years, Aya participated in the GUC Internal Moot Court Competition and was awarded ‘Best Memorial’. She has also attended several legal practice training sessions and completed an internship in corporate law and litigation at Levari Law Firm.
Aya obtained her LL.B. degree from the GUC in 2023, graduating with Excellent with the highest honors, ranking 1st in her class. Currently, she is pursuing her LL.M. degree at Ain Shams University.

Farah Tarek Raphael has been a Teaching Assistant at the GUC’s Faculty of Law and Legal Studies since 2024. Her academic interests lie in International Law, with a focus on Arbitration and Public International Law. Farah has gained valuable experience interning at top global companies such as Orascom and Technical Chemical Laboratories, as well as leading law firms including Matouk Bassiouny & Hennawy and Khodeir & Partners.
Farah graduated with highest honors from the GUC in 2024, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Law and Legal Studies. During her time at GUC, she was an active participant in several moot court competitions, including the 2023 Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition, where she was Runner-Up and won Best Memorial for the Respondent in the Egyptian National Rounds. In her role as a Teaching Assistant, she is now in charge of supervising both the GUC Moot Court Club and the Philip C. Jessup Competition. She is also currently pursuing an LL.M. at Ain Shams University.

Gehan Reda has been a Teaching Assistant at the GUC's Faculty of Law and Legal Studies since 2024. Her areas of interest include Contract Law and Business Law, and she has gained significant practical experience during her internships at Matouk Bassiouny Law Firm and Petrosannan Petroleum Company. She has also been actively involved in extracurricular activities, including the Foreign Direct Investment Moot Court and the Monroe E. Price Media Law Moot Court.
Gehan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law and Legal Studies from the GUC, where she graduated at the top of her class. During her undergraduate studies, she gained expertise in drafting contracts and understanding tendering processes.

Hana Fikry joined the GUC’s Faculty of Law and Legal Studies as a Teaching Assistant in 2025. Her academic interests lie in Private Law, Competition Law, and Commercial Law. During her undergraduate years, Hana was an active participant in international moot court competitions, including the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition, where her team secured the position of Runner-Up Best Memorial in the national rounds.
Hana gained valuable practical experience through internships at leading institutions such as Shalakany Law Office, Rizkana & Partners, and the Egyptian Competition Authority. She graduated from the GUC in 2025 with an LL.B. degree, earning Excellent with High Honors and ranking among the top of her class.

Heba joined the GUC’s Faculty of Law and Legal Studies as a Teaching Assistant in 2022. Her areas of interest include business law and legal education. Heba has extensive experience in moot court competitions, participating as a competitor, coach, and judge. She has also been actively involved in extracurricular activities and simulation models, such as the Ain Shams Model of Moot Court, the Model European Union, and the Model United Nations.
Heba obtained her LL.B. from the English Department of the Faculty of Law at Ain Shams University, graduating with very good honors in 2020. During her undergraduate years, she gained practical experience through internships at several reputable law firms in Egypt, including Matouk Bassiouny & Hennawy Law Firm, Baker McKenzie, and the Export Development Bank of Egypt (EBE). She holds a Master's degree in International Business Law from Ain Shams University

Merna Eltersawy has been working at the GUC’s Faculty of Law and Legal Studies as a Teaching Assistant since 2022. Her research interests are International Business Law, Civil Law, and Administrative Law. During her undergraduate years, she trained at reputable law firms, including Shalakany Law Firm, Emara & Soliman International Law Firm, and Sharkawy & Sarhan Law Firm. She has also participated in several legal workshops and leadership development programs.
Merna graduated from the Faculty of Law and Legal Studies, GUC in 2022, obtaining her LL.B. degree with Excellent with Highest Honors, ranking 2nd in her class. She is currently enrolled in a Master’s program in International Legal Commercial Transactions & Logistics at the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT).

Nadeen Tarek has been working at GUC’s Faculty of Law and Legal Studies as a Teaching Assistant since 2023. She is interested in Private Law, Public International Law, Comparative Law, and Criminal Law. Nadeen has participated in several moot court competitions, such as the Nuremberg Competition, Oxford Intellectual Property Moot Court Competition, and the Philip C. Jessup International Moot Court Competition, where her team won 1st place in the national rounds and qualified for the international rounds.
Nadeen graduated from Ain Shams University, English Section, with an Excellent grade in 2021. She is currently pursuing her master’s degree.

Noureldin Yahia Elsehimy joined the GUC’s Faculty of Law and Legal Studies as a Teaching Assistant in February 2025. His main academic interests include Private Law, particularly Civil Law and Commercial Law, as well as Criminal and Criminal Procedures Law.
Noureldin obtained his LL.B. degree from the GUC in 2023, graduating with Excellent with High Honors, ranking 5th in his class. He also obtained an LL.M. in Private Law and International Trade Law from Ain Shams University. He also trained at leading law firms including White & Case, ADSERO – Ragy Soliman & Partners, Zaki Hashem & Partners, ALC & Partners, and Zulficar & Partners, and later worked as a Junior Associate in the Dispute Resolution Department at ADSERO. Additionally, Noureldin has actively participated in several moot court competitions, including the ICRC Moot Court, the GUC Internal Moot Court, the FDI Moot Court Competition held at Matouk Bassiouny, and the Enforced Disappearance Moot Court held at Saint Joseph University in Lebanon, where his team secured 1st place across the MENA region.
Ola Emad

Ola has been working at the GUC’s Faculty of Law and Legal Studies as a Teaching Assistant since 2023. Her main field of interest is Private Law, especially Law of Civil and Commercial Procedures, Civil Law, and Commercial Law. She has participated in several moot court competitions, such as Monroe E Price Media Law Moot Court Competition, where her team was the only Egyptian team qualified for international rounds, and Ain Shams Aviation Law Moot Court Competition, she also coached the Internal Moot Court Competition. In addition, she completed an internship at Al-Feshawy & El-Shazly Law Firm.
Ola graduated from Ain Shams University, Faculty of Law, English Department, in 2022, with a grade of Very Good with honors. She obtained her first diploma from Ain Shams University in Private Law in 2023 and is currently enrolled in her second diploma in International Trade.

Salma Ismail Hassan-Sabry has been a Teaching Assistant at the GUC’s Faculty of Law and Legal Studies since 2024. Her main areas of interest are Public International Law and Criminal Justice. She has gained practical experience interning at some of Egypt's leading law firms, including Shalakany Law Office, Zaki Hashem & Partners, and Soliman, Hashish & Partners. Additionally, she has been involved in moot court competitions, both as a participant and an Academic Coach, and has attended several legal conferences and workshops.
Salma graduated with highest honors from the GUC in 2024, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Law and Legal Studies. During her undergraduate years, she actively participated in the GUC Moot Court Club and contributed to discussions on International Climate Negotiations and Environmental Law organized by Cairo Climate Talks and the German Embassy. Salma is now studying for her LL.M. at Ain Shams University.

Salma Swidan has been working at the GUC’s Faculty of Law and Legal Studies as a Teaching Assistant since 2023. Her academic interests are Criminal Law and Islamic Sharia.
During her undergraduate years, she participated in the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition, placing 2nd in the national rounds and participating in the global rounds leading her to co-found the GUC’s internal Moot Court Club and coaching the teams in it and being a part of the Moot Courts Supervising Committee. She has also interned at Nour & Partners in association with Al Tamimi & Company and Soliman, Hashish & Partners Law Firm. Salma graduated with Very Good with honors from the Faculty of Law, GUC, in 2023. She is enrolled in a Private Law diploma at Ain Shams University.

Sondoss Magdy has been working at the GUC’s Faculty of Law and Legal Studies as a Teaching Assistant since 2020. She is a dedicated professional with a profound commitment to Civil Law and Commercial Law. Sondoss graduated from the GUC with a Bachelor’s degree in Law, earning a grade of Excellent with honors and ranking third over her class. She continued her academic pursuits with Master's degree in Private Law and Public International Law from Ain Shams University.
Sondoss has participated in numerous moot court competitions, achieving significant success, including winning first place at the national level in the Red Cross International Humanitarian Law Moot Court. Her expertise led her to coach several moot court teams such as the Monroe E Price Media Law Moot Court and eventually served on the moot court supervising committee. Within the GUC community, she advanced from assisting students to supervising the faculty advising committee, Sondoss also played a key role in the Faculty school orientations, the organization of training sessions, and excursions, enriching the academic experience for students.
Sarah Sherif has been a Teaching Assistant at the GUC’s Faculty of Law and Legal Studies since 2025. Her primary areas of interest are Contract Law and Commercial Law, with a particular focus on corporate transactions and legal drafting.
Sarah gained valuable practical experience during her undergraduate studies through internships at leading multinational companies including PepsiCo and TotalEnergies, where she assisted in reviewing and drafting contracts. She also interned in the Corporate Structuring department at Al Tamimi & Company. Sarah graduated from the GUC in 2025 with high honors, earning her Bachelor’s degree in Law and Legal Studies. During her studies, she was an active member of the GUC Legal Clinic continues to support the clinic during her role as a Teaching Assistant.
