Legal Trainings

Legal Trainings:

At the GUC, one of the core objectives is to integrate practical application with the theoretical knowledge taught in lectures. As part of this commitment, legal training is embedded into the law curriculum to provide students with hands-on experience. To facilitate these trainings, experienced legal practitioners from various sectors, including the judiciary, arbitration centers, and law firms, are invited to conduct specialized sessions. Notable trainers include Chancellor Adel Mohamed Hussien Youssef, Vice President of the Egyptian State Lawsuits Authority; Judge Ayman Abdelhady, President of Cairo Court of Appeal; Chancellor Mohamed Abdel Gawad, Vice President of the Egyptian Court of Cassation; and Dr. Maryan Kaldas, Executive Director of the Egyptian Centre for Arbitration and Settlement of Non-Bank Financial Disputes.

The trainings cover a broad range of topics such as administrative contract disputes and their settlement mechanisms, IT-related crimes, civil court procedures, fundamentals of stock exchange entry and submissions, and the use of arbitration to resolve disputes arising from financial transactions. Additionally, students are provided with real cases, enabling them to draft legal memorandums as part of their practical training.
